Calling FT readers: join us on the UK campaign trail

What exactly is it like to report on a political campaign? The Financial Times is looking for two UK-based readers to join our political editor George Parker for a day on the campaign trail ahead of the general election. The day will be filmed for a short FT video, and you will have the chance to write your impressions of the experience, which will be published on FT.com.

If this interests you, share your thoughts below before 11pm BST on Tuesday May 17. These questions are meant to get to know you a bit better so we can choose two readers with different outlooks on the election.

You will be notified of our selection soon after the application period closes. Keep in mind it will be on a work day. We will cover your travel costs.
